To the County Council,

I grew up in Olney. I love Olney. I wanted it to remain small, but it hasn't.

I have deep family roots in Olney which have kept me here as an adult.  We purchased our home in Olney because of 1) its location, 2) the empty, beautiful field it backed up to, and 3) the schools. Now, 2 out of those 3 reasons have been taken away from us and we're not happy about it.

I believe it is inevitable that houses will be built instead of a school, however, I ask that any affordable housing built on the 32-acre property be workforce housing.
