Full Council discusses the Olney Master Plan.

Web Site has been Updated.

All parts of the web site have been updated.  The News Archive sections still have the information chronologically while the menu bars on the left and right have the information consolidated by topics.  Check it out.

Upcoming Public Hearings on the ICC and the Mixed Use Town Center Zone.

The State Highway Administration (SHA) will host four public hearings on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Intercounty Connector (ICC).  The hearings are open to the public and the closest location to Olney is at Blake High School on Saturday January 8th and 22nd from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Speakers may register in advance by calling the ICC Study toll-free line at 1-866-462-0020 weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  In addition, speakers may register online through the SHA website.

The County Council will hold a public hearing on the new Mixed-use Town Center Zone (ZTA 04-26) for the Olney Town Center at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 18th.  Call 240-777-7931 to sign up to testify.
